One Second on The Internet

Do you ever think about the amount of data that gets published or shared to the internet each day? What about each second? I love data visualization so finding the site “One Second on the Internet” was pretty neat. The site visualizes the data published to our fav social media  networks (Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, Instagram, YouTube) each second, and the ticker keeps rising the longer you stay on the site.

You  might be surprised or even shocked at the sheer volume of posts, Tweets, video views, calls, updates, and searches that happen that fast. It’s crazy how much we, as a society, rely on the Internet for business and social interaction. Check out the visuals below and visit onesecond.designly.com.
