#WMCFWreveal: Caesarstone Canada Unveils 2014 Collection
Last night at the Fermenting Cellar in Toronto’s historic Distillery District, Community helped Caesarstone unveil their 2014 collection with a very fashion forward event. Their unique installations included the entire 2014 Classico Collection, displayed as large quartz slates along with beautifully designed fashion figures.
After weeks of creative planning and development, our team of designers and artists took the six new colours and created a standing statuette for each, which when projected with light, would display a unique fashion silhouette. Bringing together fashion, creativity, and art, our mandate was to put Caesarstone in the spotlight, where it deserved to be.
At the stroke of 9:30 p.m., 800+ guests gathered to watch the unveiling of the statuettes. Completely taken off guard, they cheered and whistled upon seeing the six pieces of art, awe-struck by their life-like projected silhouettes.
Other highlights of the evening, included mounted quartz ‘walls’ for guests to see and touch, custom-crafted cocktails inspired by the collection as well as party-chic food stations (salted caramel popcorn, poutine and tacos!).
“Caesarstone is more than just quartz surfaces, we’re about lifestyle, fashion, art and design,” says Fernando Mammoliti, CEO, Caesarstone Canada. “All of our new designs represent rich colour and textures and we wanted a way to showcase our latest collection in the most unique way possible.”
For those familiar with our relationship with Caesarstone, you’ll recall our fashion-beginnings including our event last September during World Mastercard Fashion Week, Caesarstone partnered with Mackage to create quartz jewellery and hair accessories for their runway show. They were also involved with the after-party at The Spoke Club where all artwork displayed in the venue was from the Caesarstone collection. Read about that here.
This year, they were the star of their own show, adopting the same approach as a designer, presenting a new collection. See what people were saying about it below. Were you there? Leave your thoughts in the comments section or send us a tweet @CommunityAgency! Happy Friday
