Community Brings Home Gold & Silver at National Home Builders Awards

Community was recognized in Vegas this month with wins at the 2014 National Home Builders Awards. Our agency took home awards for four different pieces of work on behalf of one of Ontario’s top new home / condo builders, Great Gulf. Dave Barnes, Associate Creative Director at Community Agency, echoed the entire agency’s sentiment with his statement “We’re honoured by the recognition on this project. It’s really a testament of our working relationship with Great Gulf Homes and their trust in letting us guide them outside their comfort zone.”

In the Best Brochure category, Community took the Gold award for the work done on behalf of Great Gulf at Yonge+Rich/Lombard – Toronto, Ontario.  The judges statement said it all, “A perfect balance of urban inspiration, exaltation, lifestyle and grandeur. Like the ultra-modern towers showcased, this brochure soars to a new level of perfection. Every detail was carefully chosen to reflect the exacting standards set forth by the Yonge+Rich community planners. From the minimal, elegant use of typography to the subtle textures of the paper, the brochure itself has an architectural feeling that begs to be explored.”

Community was also awarded silver in the Best Presentation Center, Best Color Ad and Best Overall Advertising Campaign sections for the same project. For Yonge+Rich/Lombard, Community developed the branding/identity, print, digital, out of home campaigns, as well as the search and social media buying strategies.

Both the client and our agency are extremely pleased with the success of the Yonge+Rich/Lombard  project and look forward to many more exciting ventures in the build industry to come.
